 The Creation

In the beginning God made the world

He thought that it was simply superb.

He made the animals and the sky.

Then he made water and the birds that fly.

All he made he thought was good.

Then he said “It was done”.

After that he made man.

Then God took a rib out of the man and created woman.

They named the animals one by one.

God said the world was perfect, it was done.

Then along came the devil as a snake.

He was going to see what he could make.

There was one certain tree of which they could not eat.

The devil gave them an apple and the SINNED.

God then forced them to leave the garden.

DANGLE: Short Film Task

Watch the following short film then complete the activities below.

  1. What do you think the message is in this short film?
  2. You may choose to complete either Option a) or Option b).

Option a)   Write a short newspaper report about this incident. You can write it from the point of view of the man pulling the rope, or from the point of view of one of the people living in the town.

Option b)    Imagine that you came across a dangling rope from the sky. How would you feel when you saw it? What would happen if you pulled it? And how would you feel after pulling it?

Either option must be handwritten and should be at least 1 page in length.

This task is due on Tuesday 11th September
(You will lose 5% for each day that it is late)
